Henley & Partners has released the Henley Passport Index for the first half of 2025. According to the rankings, Singapore’s passport has emerged as the most powerful in the world, allowing holders to travel visa-free to 195 countries. Japan is in second place, with Japanese passport holders gaining visa-free access to 193 countries. India ranks 85th on the list, while Pakistan has dropped to the 103rd position, making it one of the weakest passports in the world.

Singapore has surpassed Japan this year, which previously held the top spot. South Korea, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Finland share the third position.
India’s Position
India’s passport ranks 85th, allowing holders visa-free access to 57 countries. However, this is a drop of 5 positions compared to last year.
